Playing "follow the leader" was taking money out of our pockets, might I mention money that we really did not have, but was not putting any back in. We had used all of our resources and all of our contacts. We were quickly coming to the realization that our business was a failure and would never work.  The thought alone of going back to 9 - 5 to get someone else rich was not very appealing. Then we discovered something, by accident might I add. We found a way to attract people to our business and the best part was that it was so inexpensive we could actually afford it. Still skeptical, but our last attempt to make our business work, we decided to give it a try. We discovered that we could offer customers and leads 3 day/2 night travel incentives as incentives to do business with us.
